One gray and windy Thursday I went down to the boat to reconcile the work there and make sure nothing was forgotten. I will not write much about it. Instead I´ll let the movie and pictures do the job.
What can be said however, which in the first moment does not seems to have anything to do with sailing, is my visit at the dentist. As part of the preparations, various health checks are included. I found out I´ve got, in the old days, a wisdom tooth. It also turned out it grows the wrong way.
Go out sailing with it is not an option as it is a potential health risk. It already sets in with some discomfort. When I told about my trip, I probably got some special treatment. Already the next day they called from the X-ray and offered me an appointment on Tuesday next week. It’s a bit of a world record, I think.
It will be interesting to see how soon I´ll have the next appointment. When they actually going to remove the tooth. In addition to this visit, vaccination of various kinds is ongoing. Perhaps a general medical check up should also be done.
There seems to be an endless list of things to buy. At least some stuff can be checked of from the list after this weekend but still there is a lot more to get. Late last year I ordered a parachute anchor from UK. It was supposed to come in a bag. Weight 23 kg. No problem I thought. I also bought the recommended line package. THAT was a surprise! 100 meter, 24mm, line is a lot more than I expected. Look at the photo and decide for yourself.
Enjoy the film and pictures. Feel free to comment, like or ask questions if you are wondering about something.
